Systems Engineer
About the Role
We are hiring multiple Systems Engineers to support the design, integration, and verification of complex defence and aerospace systems. You will be responsible for system architecture, requirements, and modelling and analysis activities, working closely with multidisciplinary teams across the full development lifecycle.
At Frankenburg, you will join a team of experts in technology and national defence, developing next‑generation missile systems. Your work has a direct impact on proving that these systems are safe, reliable, and ready for real‑world use. In a fast‑paced environment, your contribution helps deliver mission‑critical capabilities that must perform without compromise and meet the highest performance and safety standards. We welcome applications from candidates with a range of experience levels and backgrounds, including those at an entry level who are motivated to grow in this field.
Key Responsibilities
MBSE & Architecture
Develop and analyse mission‑critical system architectures using MBSE principles.Requirements Engineering
Define, manage, and verify system requirements across the lifecycle.Analysis & Modelling
Perform functional, behavioral, and performance analysis and system modelling.Integration & Test
Support system integration, testing, and live‑firing activities.Documentation
Produce technical reports, briefings, and engineering artefacts.Collaboration & Standards

We Would Love You to Have
Educational Background
A technical degree in Systems Engineering, Aerospace, Electronics, Mechanics, Mechatronics, or a related discipline.Experience
3+ years of experience in complex engineering roles or systems engineering. Defence or aerospace experience preferred.Technical Skills
Hands-on experience with MBSE tools and methodologies, and a solid understanding of system lifecycle management, or a strong willingness to learn and develop in this area.Soft Skills

Our Values
Our mission is ambitious, and it takes a team that works with the same intensity.
Own the Mission: Mission first. Always.
We choose impact — we focus on what moves the mission forward fastest instead of “nice-to-haves". We fix it now — when delays or problems appear, we step up, rally the right people, and solve them immediately. We keep momentum — when time matters, we stay focused and move forward without waiting for perfect conditions.Strive for More: Dare more. Do more. Achieve the impossible.
We challenge the status quo — we question, test, and improve instead of accepting “the usual way.” We embrace discomfort — we step outside comfort zones and turn challenges into growth. We anticipate the future — we build solutions that scale and set higher standards each time.Build with Trust: Be open. Keep promises.
We walk the talk — what we say, we do. No excuses, no exceptions. We share openly — we communicate clearly and early, even when the news is hard. We own outcomes — we admit errors quickly, fix them, and prevent them from repeating.

About Frankenburg Technologies Group
Frankenburg Technologies a is a European defence technology company building affordable, mass-manufacturable guided missile systems for modern air and missile defence.
This is a demanding engineering and manufacturing challenge. Guided missile systems must be precise, reliable and safe to operate, while also being affordable enough to use against mass aerial threats and producible in quantity.
Frankenburg's first system, Mark I, is a guided interceptor missile, designed to defeat unmanned aerial systems, including drone swarms, at close range.
Alongside missile development, Frankenburg is building the factories, supply chains and production processes needed to produce missiles in quantity and replenish them quickly.
Headquartered in Tallinn, Estonia, Frankenburg operates in Latvia, the United Kingdom and Germany, with further European presence in Lithuania, Poland and Denmark.
Join us in building the world’s next missile house.
