We are seeking a Senior Accountant to take full ownership of payroll, people-related finance, and multi-entity accounting across countries. In this role, you will ensure precise payroll execution, effective employee expense management, and consistent accounting practices across entities, supporting reliable reporting and compliance in an international environment.

Operating across finance, payroll, HR, and cross-border accounting, you will help build scalable and compliant financial operations across multiple jurisdictions. Key Responsibilities
Payroll & People (core focus)
Payroll Ownership
Oversee payroll inputs, time-off data, and employee lifecycle flows.HR Partnership
Partner closely with HR on contracts, residency, and taxation topics.Cross-Border Payroll Coordination
Coordinate with local payroll providers and manage payroll complexities across multiple countries.Employee Expenses
Own employee expense process: travel reimbursements, per diems, and benefits-related costs.Financial Accuracy
Ensure accurate accounting treatment of all people-related data.
Group Accounting & Operations
Group Policy Alignment
Ensure subsidiaries are aligned with group accounting policies and local GAAP.Period Closings
Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.External Accounting Partners
Manage collaboration with external accounting and partners.Project Cost Tracking
Support project cost tracking and ensure accurate time allocation.Audit Participation
Participate in statutory and group audits.Standardisation & Consistency
Identify inconsistencies across countries and drive standardisation.Process Improvement
Improve workflows, documentation, and audit trails to support compliance and scalability.
We Would Love You to Have
Educational Background
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent practical experience.Experience
Experience working with accounting and people-related finance topics in an international environment, including exposure to multi-entity or cross-border operations.Technical Skills
Familiarity with accounting principles and people-related finance processes, including payroll, employee expenses, and financial compliance.Soft Skills
Strong ownership mindset, excellent communication, and keen attention to detail. Able to operate effectively in a fast-moving, scale-up environment.Mission Alignment
