About the Role
We are seeking a mission-driven Systems Engineer to revolutionize the defence industry and build cutting-edge air defence missile systems that meet the acute demands of modern warfare. Your expertise will help us produce affordable defence solutions at scale, rapidly and reliably — all while helping to defend the free world.
At Frankenburg, you will join an exceptional team that unites leading figures from NATO’s eastern flank in both technology and national defence. As our Systems Engineer, you will be a member of a cross functional team responsible for providing expert engineering by applying Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) principles to define, develop, integrate and deliver cutting-edge missile systems for various customers and applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform MBSE functional and behaviour analysis for the defeat of conventional and advanced drone threats within Frankenburg's mission area.
- Participate in a MBSE environment to develop missile system architecture and requirements via system/component trade studies and performance analysis.
- Document and communicate concepts and analysis results in reports and briefings.
- Interface with missile development team to ensure proper missile design steps and implementation of missile components.
- Develop and apply missile requirements verification methodologies.
- Verify proper modelling, verification and validation of 6-DOF missile models support technical reviews and audits according to IEEE 15288.2.
- Prepare technical documentation which reflects engineering artifacts support system integration and test and live firing activities with customers and suppliers.
We Would Love You to Have
- Experience: At least 5 years of experience in missile systems engineering, or a similar role.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of missile engineering principles and practices.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in engineering software tools and simulation platforms.
- Performance: Proven track record in delivering outstanding results through collaborative teamwork in a challenging, fast-paced environment.
- Mission Alignment: Deep commitment to our mission of building affordable and mass-manufacturable technologies to enhance defence capabilities.
- Security Clearance: Willingness to undergo a background check as a condition of employment.
