Key Responsibilities
- Design and analyze rocket propulsion systems, including engines and thrusters, to meet mission requirements.
- Conduct tests on propulsion components and systems to validate performance and safety standards.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including aerodynamics and structural engineers, to integrate propulsion designs.
- Develop and maintain inventory of propulsion materials and components, ensuring quality control.
- Prepare detailed technical reports and presentations to communicate findings and project status to stakeholders.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in propulsion technology and incorporate innovative solutions into designs.
- Ensure compliance with aerospace regulations and safety standards throughout the engineering process.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving propulsion system issues during testing and operational phases.
We Would Love You to Have
- Experience: At least 5 years of experience in rocket propulsion design and testing, and materials selection for high-performance applications.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of fluid dynamics and thermodynamics principles.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in propulsion system modelling and simulation tools.
- Performance: Proven track record in delivering outstanding results through collaborative teamwork in a challenging, fast-paced environment.
- Mission Alignment: Deep commitment to our mission of building affordable and mass-manufacturable technologies to enhance defence capabilities.
