At Frankenburg, you will join an exceptional team that unites leading figures from NATO’s eastern flank in both technology and national defence. As our Battery Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, development, and testing of battery systems for missile applications. Your role involves working collaboratively with suppliers and cross-functional teams to ensure optimal performance, safety, and efficiency of battery products.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop battery systems including cell, module, and pack configurations. 
• Conduct performance testing and evaluation of battery systems under various conditions. 
• Analyze data and develop models to predict battery performance and lifespan.
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure efficient production processes.
• Research and implement new battery technologies to enhance product performance. 
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations regarding battery safety. 
• Prepare technical documentation and reports for internal and external stakeholders.

We Would Love You to Have 

• Experience: At least 5 years of experience in battery development, or related field.
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of electrochemistry and battery technologies.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in design and simulation software (e.g. MATLAB, ANSYS).
• Performance: Proven track record in delivering outstanding results through collaborative teamwork in a challenging, fast-paced environment. 
• Mission Alignment: Deep commitment to our mission of building affordable and mass-manufacturable technologies to enhance defence capabilities. 
• Security Clearance: Willingness to undergo a background check as a condition of employment.
